This Privacy Policy explains how Service by Design LLC ("Service by Design," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit servicebydesign.ai (the "Site") or contact us through it.
We keep this simple because our data practices are simple: the only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through our contact form.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit our contact form, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that message.
Information collected automatically. We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics on the Site. Our website host may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) for security and to operate the Site; we do not use this information to identify or profile you.
We do not knowingly collect any special or sensitive categories of personal information.
2. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
• respond to your inquiry and communicate with you;
• provide, evaluate, and discuss our services; and
• keep records of our correspondence.
We use your information only for the purpose you contacted us about. We will not send you marketing email unless you separately ask us to.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
• with service providers that help us operate the Site and communicate (for example, our website hosting provider and our email provider), and only as needed for those functions;
• if required by law, legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property; or
• in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to this Policy.
4. Cookies & tracking
The Site does not currently set advertising or analytics cookies or use tracking technologies. Only cookies strictly necessary to operate and secure the Site (if any) are used by our hosting provider. If we introduce analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
5. Data retention
We keep contact-form submissions and related correspondence for as long as needed to address your inquiry and for our reasonable business and recordkeeping needs, after which we delete or anonymize it.
6. How we protect your information
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us confidential or sensitive information through the contact form.
7. Your choices and rights
You may contact us at siddarth@servicebydesign.ai to ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have provided, or to ask questions about this Policy. We will respond consistent with applicable law.
8. Your California privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
• Right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and any third parties we share it with.
• Right to delete personal information we collected from you, subject to legal exceptions.
• Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.
• Right to non-discrimination for exercising your rights.
Categories we collect. In the past 12 months we have collected the category of identifiers (such as name and email address) and other information you voluntarily include in your message. We collect this from you directly, for the purposes described in Section 2, and disclose it only to the service providers described in Section 3.
To exercise any of these rights, email siddarth@servicebydesign.ai. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf.
9. Children's privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
